(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers didn’t take time off over the holiday weekend as a slew of moves drastically re-shaped the roster.
Returning is Rodney Stuckey who re-signed for three years and $21 million dollars.
On the way out is C.J. Watson, who agreed to a three-year deal worth $15 million with the Orlando Magic.
Meanwhile, the biggest move looks to be Roy Hibbert, who is reportedly headed to the Los Angeles Lakers via trade. No details of the trade have been announced but multiple sources the deal is all but finalized and should be official after July 9th.
In other news, the Pacers dropped their first summer league game over the weekend as they were trounced by the Miami Heat 92-76.
Pacers' rookie Myles Turner led all scorers with 20 points and 8 rebounds. After the game, Turner said individual stats don't matter but wins do.
"Obviously we didn't win this game so my stats go out the window and I didn't do enough for us to win. We have to get better and we will."
The Blue & Gold get back on the court against the Orlando Magic today at 1pm.
