(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts were victorious in the third pre-season game of the year 24-14 over the St Louis Rams.
Andrew Luck and the first team offense played the entire first half and put up 13 points. The Colts would lead at the half.
St Louis would take a brief 14-13 lead but the Colts would respond and win 24-14.
Adam Viniteri knocked through 3 field goals; the longest from 55 yards.
Following the win, Chuck Pagano says the team has a lot to feel good about.
"A win is a win no matter what time of the year it is. We have to look at the tape but we did a lot of good stuff in all three phases. Really proud of our guys."
Meanwhile, the team holds its' collective breath for Art Jones, who will see an ankle specialist after undergoing an MRI Sunday. X-rays were negative but he left the game in a walking boot and will see a specialist to hear the severity of the injury.
Indianapolis will play Cincinnati in the final preseason game of the year Thursday.
