(Indianapolis, IN) - Speaking to Sports Illustrated’s Peter King, Chuck Pagano said the Colts still have a bad taste in their mouths from their blowout loss to the New England Patriots in last season’s AFC Championship Game.
"No excuses, we got our asses kicked. Period. End of story. None of us here will ever forget that day, that final score. We got a damn artery gushing and no sutures to stop the bleeding. You never forget that."
Meanwhile, after having 18 players miss Sunday's practice due to injury or other circumstances, Pagano said having so many guys out really makes it difficult to practice efficiently.
"When you're missing so many guys it makes it difficult to run certain packages so you have to be smart about it. Someone's going to pay the price. You're asking for someone else to go down because they're taking someone else's reps."
