(Indianapolis, IN) - It was about as ugly as it could get as the Colts drop to 0-2 with a 20-7 loss to the New York Jets.
It was a game that saw the Colts constantly shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties.
Andrew Luck threw three interceptions and lost a fumble, finishing the game 21-for-37 for 250 yards and a touchdown while Frank Gore coughed up a fumble on the Jets' one-yard line, killing an 18-play drive that ate up more than 10 minutes in the third quarter.
Luck has five interceptions, a 54.7% completion percentage and a 58.9 quarterback rating through the first two games of the season.
Donte Moncrief hauled in 7 receptions for 122 yards and a score but Indy couldn't compete with a tough Jets' defense.
Along with the Jets' defense was the two-headed monster of Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, who racked up 15 catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns between them.
Chuck Pagano said after the game that the Colts were their own worst enemy.
"You just have to take care of the football. We have to make smart decisions. It's not that hard. It's not trigonometry." The
Colts are 0-2 to start the season for the second straight year and will look to right the ship when they head to Tennessee to take on the Titans in their first divisional game of the season.
