(Huntington, W.Va) - On the final Sunday in 2015 without NFL games, Purdue football opened their season at Marshall - but didn’t get the win they were looking for.
Down by three with 2:50 left, Purdue had time for a winning drive. However, Purdue quarterback Austin Appleby's pass was picked off and returned 55 yards by Tiquan Land, who had two pick-sixes in the game, for a touchdown.
41 to 31 was the final, as the Boilermakers lost their eighth straight road opener.
