(Fort Wayne, IN) - The Indiana Pacers officially announced the purchase of the D-League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Larry Bird says the goal is have the team run a similar style as the Pacers, to help transition players easier between teams.
"Our goal is to implement a similar style of offense and defense up here that we do with the Pacers. That way when we send a player up for a couple of games or months he can get back to the Pacers and not skip a beat."
