(UNDATED) - Count Juan Pablo Montoya as someone opposed to the idea of closed cockpits in IndyCar.
Montoya, speaking to a German broadcaster said IndyCar doesn't need to adoped closed cockpits.
"If someone can't handle the danger, maybe you shouldn't be racing," he continued saying, "everybody out there knows that risk is always a part of it. It is just a part of being a racing driver."
Talks of closed cockpits increased after the death of Justin Wilson back in August.
