(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers fell to the Toronto Raptors 106-99 in the opener of their season.
Toronto had three players score 20+ points with DeMar DeRozan scoring a game-high 25, followed by teammates Kyle Lowry (23) and Jonas Valanciunas (21).
For the Pacers, George Hill led the team with 19 points while Paul George had a 17 point 12 rebound double double.
The Blue & Gold led by 16 in the second quarter but saw that lead vanish in the second half. The Raptors have dominated the head-to-head matchups as of late, winning the last five straight games against Indiana.
The Pacers have their home opener tonight, when they welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to town with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
