(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts continued to be busy shuffling their roster as they claimed recently released quarterback Charlie Whitehurst off of waivers.
Whitehurst was released by the Titans on Wednesday
Retired QB Jason Campbell told the Washington Post that Indy came calling but he turned them down and said he was enjoying retirement.
The team also elevated linebacker Daniel Adongo from the practice squad and waived rookie running back Josh Robinson.
Meanwhile, Bob Kravitz reports Colts owner Jim Irsay doesn't have faith in Chuck Pagano and wouldn't be satisfied with just making the playoffs. Irsay is reportedly high on Alabama head coach Nick Saban, and even would be willing to fire general manager Ryan Grigson if Saban wanted full control of the team.
