(Indianapolis, IN) - Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports that team leaders of the Colts called a players-only meeting last week to encourage teammates to block out media attention surrounding reports of turmoil in the team’s front office.
Other concerns that were reportedly discussed was the ongoing talk of Chuck Pagano's future as well as the coaching staff reportedly being told to follow lineup decisions made by the front office.
Rob Chudzinski met with the media for the first time since being named the Colts new offensive coordinator and said one thing he wants to see changed is the slow starts that have plagued the offense thus far.
"The emphasis is certainly to start fast and get on the scoreboard. The players are aware of it. This is a great group of players and they understand and really work at the things that we emphasize."
Meanwhile, T.Y. Hilton remained out of practice as he nurses a foot injury while Khaled Holmes was limited. Both are uncertain for Sunday.
