(Indianapolis, IN) - Colt’s quarterback Andrew Luck says he is very confident that he will play again this season.
The 4th year veteran is in his third week of being on the sidelines with a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle.
Luck says he is feeling much better and resting is playing an important part.
"Rest is a huge, huge portion of it, and from what the doctors and everyone has told me, it's what you have to do for organs to get healthy," Luck said on Wednesday.
Luck went on to say that he needs to be more aware when it comes to leaving the pocket.
"There's a time and place to taking a hit. I'm not going to apologize in that sense. Sometimes I feel it is appropriate. Sliding is something I still need to improve on. It's no secret."
The Colts hope to have Luck by mid-December.
