(Auburn Hills, MI) - The Pacers earned their first win of the season while sending the Pistons to their first loss with a 94-82 victory.
Rodney Stuckey provided the spark Indiana was looking for, scoring 23 points off the bench. The Pacers bench outscored Detroit's 43-2.
Jordan Hill contributed 10 points and 6 rebounds off the bench and after the game said the team played with purpose.
"We played together tonight. It was all about desperation. We went out there with a sense of urgency and played well on the defensive end, played well on the offensive end and came up with a big win."
The Pacers get right back to work as they welcome former Butler head coach Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics to town with tip-off scheduled for 7pm.
