(Indianapolis, IN) - Since filling in for Andrew Luck, Matt Hasselbeck has gone 4-0 and has minimized his mistakes, but that doesn’t mean he’s buying in to the talk that he should remain the starter when Luck is fully healthy.
"I know the truth, I know what the reality is, this is 100-percent Andrew Luck's team. I don't put anything in to those comments outside of the building, I don't even think that's been a discussion in this building so it's kind of a non-starter I think."
Earlier in the day, the 40 year old QB tweeted out he was being randomly drug tested by the NFL. He's the second Colts veteran to be randomly selected this year, as kicker Adam Vinateri was selected in January after hitting a 53-yard field goal, the longest post-season kick in team history.
With the media Andrew Luck painted an optimistic picture, saying while there is no timetable for his return, he is starting to throw the football around with no pain.
"No timetable yet but I'm making improvements every day, starting to throw the ball with no pain, which is good. I want to make sure when I come back that I don't miss a beat."
