(Madison, WI) - A.J. Hammons continued to thrive coming off the bench as he scored 24 points and led Purdue to a 61-55 victory over Wisconsin in opening night of Big Ten conference play.
The seven-footer was the only member of the Boilermakers to score in double figures, with Vince Edwards being the next closest scorer with just 8 points. It was an ugly game that looked a lot prettier thanks to the victory as Purdue committed 16 turnovers.
The No. 14 Boilermakers close out 2015 with a conference win in Wisconsin and open the new year with a home game against Iowa on January 2nd.
