Warriors Hold Off Pacers' Late Push

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers couldn’t slow down the Golden State Warriors, who ran their record to 23-0 to start the season with 131-123 victory over the Blue & Gold.

Klay Thompson scored 29 of his game-high 39 points in the first half while Stephen Curry fell just short of a triple-double, with a stat line of 29 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.

The Pacers trailed by as much as 32 points but the Pacers cut the deficit to six with the defending NBA champs holding on. Paul George led Indiana with 33 points while C.J. Miles scored 24.

After the game, PG-13 said, "you can't fall behind big to a team like that. I think we just struggled on the glass and they made us pay for every mistake."

The Pacers have lost three straight games for the first time since starting the season 0-3 and they look to regroup when the host the Miami Heat on Friday night.
