(IOWA CITY, IA) - No. 9 Iowa wouldn’t be denied as they got by No.22 Purdue 83-71.
Hawkeyes' forward Jarrod Uthoff scored a game-high 22 points while Adam Woodbury had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Uthoff hit 4-of-5 from 3-point range as Iowa shot 55 percent from beyond the arc.
For Purdue, Vince Edwards led the Boilermakers with 19 points and eight rebounds and P.J. Thompson came off the bench with 16 points.
Caleb Swanigan tweaked his ankle in the game but said afterwards he was "fine".
The Boilermakers have cooled off since their 14-1 start to the season, splitting their last six contests.
The loss snapped Purdue's three-game win streak and they next visit Minnesota on Wednesday.
