(Indianapolis, IN) - After a couple of days of letting go members of the coaching staff, Chuck Pagano began adding to the staff as the Colts have named Ted Monachino as defensive coordinator and retained Rob Chudzinski as offensive coordinator.
Monachino spent the last six seasons as linebackers coach for the Baltimore Ravens, working with the likes of Ray Lewis, Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs. It is the first time Monachino will be a defensive coordinator at the collegiate or professional level.
Pagano and Monachino were on the Ravens' coaching staff in 2010 and 2011.
A trio of former Colts are among the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
Tony Dungy, Marvin Harrison and Edgerrin James join a group that includes Brett Favre, Terrell Owens and Kurt Warner. There can be no more than five modern-eran inductees in a given class and this year's class will be revealed on the Saturday of Super Bowl weekend.
