(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The city of Indianapolis is finalizing a five-year deal to keep the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium through 2020.
The event has been held in Indy since 1987.
"As far as we're concerned, there's a reason we've been here for 30 years,'' said Jeff Foster, president of the Indiana-based National Football Scouting, Inc. "And those reasons have gotten better every year."
Rams owner Stan Kroenke's proposal for Los Angeles included suggestions of a future site for events like the Combine but, if that happens, it looks like it won't be until 2021.
