(Indianapolis, IN) - Indiana lawmakers have invited daily fantasy sports company FanDuel to move their headquarters to the Hoosier state.
"With the backlash they have received in their home state, we propose FanDuel move their headquarters to Indiana," Rep. Alan Morrison and Rep. Jon Ford said in a statement.
A spokesperson for FanDuel said they appreciate the lawmakers for reaching out to offer FanDuel a "safe haven to provide jobs and stimulate a nascent industry."
A bill to regulate fantasy sports in Indiana will be filed later this week.
