(DENVER, CO) - It was the same old story for the Pacers as they let a lead disappear late as they fell to the Denver Nuggets 129-126.
Indiana held a five point lead but watched it evaporate in the final three minutes. Randy Foye hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 21 seconds left to life the Nuggets to victory.
Denver scored 45 points in the fourth quarter and Frank Vogel let his team have it in his postgame press conference.
"When we start deciding to defend then maybe we'll start winning again. They (Nuggets) scored 45 points in the fourth quarter. Our defense was an embarrassment."
Pacers' rookie Myles Turner led with 25 points and seven rebounds while Monta Ellis scored 19.
The Blue & Gold have lost three straight games and next visit the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday in game two of a four-game road trip.
