(Indianapolis, IN) - It was not the way the Pacers wanted to end 2015, with a 120-116 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on their home court.
Khris Middleton dropped 33 points for the Bucks with Greg Monroe scoring 23 of his own. Milwaukee shot 58.4 percent from the field and just under 43 percent from three-point range.
For the Pacers, Paul George climbed out of his scoring slump with 31 points while C.J. Miles knocked down 19 points, including 5 of 10 from beyond the arc.
After the game Frank Vogel said the team can't rely on rallying in the final quarter.
"I'm proud of the guys for fighting and staying in it but we've got to play the first three quarters. We've got a lot of work to do and hopefully we'll start the new year strong."
Indiana dropped the final two games of 2015 and will hope to start 2016 on the right foot when they host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
