(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts got closer to finalizing their coaching hires on Tuesday as they added a slew of new faces.
Lee Hull will be the team's new wide receivers coach. Hull replaces Jim Holster and spent the last two seasons as the head coach of Morgan State.
Jemal Singleton will be the new running backs coach. Singleton worked for the University of Arkansas last season as the Razorbacks' special teams and running backs coach.
The Colts also hired Maurice Drayton as assistant special teams coach, Quadrian Banks as conditioning/performance analyst and Andrew-Hayes-Stoker as assistant to the head coach.
Finally, the team announced former Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin will be assistant head coach in addition to working with the offensive line.
The Colts parted ways with quarterback Ryan Lindley on Tuesday. Lindley was one of two veteran quarterbacks brought in for the final week of the season when both Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck were injured.
Lindley split time with Josh Freeman and contributed to the team's Week 17 win over the Titans by going 6-of-10 for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Matt Hasselbeck and Charlie Whitehurst are set to become free agents while Freeman and Stephen Morris currently remain on the roster.
Colts kicker Adam Vinateri says he is hoping to continue his career for a couple of more years. Speaking to the Indianapolis Star, the 43-year old kicker said "Not only do I want to play next season, but Lord willing, a couple of years. There will be a time when it's over for me. I don't think that time is yet. I enjoy playing. I enjoy doing my thing."
Vinateri just wrapped up his 20th season in the league and went 25-of-27 on field goal attempts and hit 32-of-35 extra points.
