(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers were no match for Kemba Walker and the Hornets as they lost 117-95.
Walker had 25 points and seven rebounds and was one of seven Charlotte players to score in double figures. Jeremy Lamb had 16 points off the bench and the Hornets shot 51.7 percent from the field.
For the Pacers, Paul George led the team with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists but it was a poor defensive effort that consistently gave the Hornets a big lead.
Charlotte started the second quarter on a 17-4 run and never allowed Indiana to get the game back down to single digits the rest of the game.
"Tonight, we weren't able to get stops and that affected us on the offensive end," Frank Vogel said. "We've got to figure this out."
The Pacers now get the next nine days off thanks to an extended All-Star break. When they return to action it will be on a three-game road trip starting with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 19.
