(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue earned their 21st win of the season with a 71-61 victory over Northwestern.
The No.17 ranked Boilermakers were led by A.J. Hammons' 17 points and 12 rebounds while Johnny Hill had a season-high 15.
It wasn't a pretty shooting night for Purdue, who shot just 38 percent from the field and 30 percent from 3-point range. Purdue dominated on the boards, out-rebounding the Wildcats 45-24.
The Boilermakers have four wins in the last six games and face a tall task on Saturday when they visit in-state rivals, and No. 22 ranked Indiana.
