(MIAMI, FL) - The Pacers were unable to complete a perfect road trip as they fell to the Miami Heat 101-93 in overtime.
The Blue & Gold started the game up 11-0 but couldn't close out against a beat up Heat squad.
Goran Dragic led Miami with 24 points while Hassan Whiteside came off the bench and put up an impressive 19 point and 18 rebound double-double.
Paul George led all scorers with 31 points and added 11 rebounds.
The Heat manhandled the Pacers on the boards, out-rebounding Indiana 66-45.
It was a rough shooting night for both teams and the starting backcourt of Monta Ellis and George Hill missed 22 of their 24 shots. It was the second time this season the Pacers have blown a double-digit lead and lost in overtime in Miami.
"It's the same story every time we're here," a frustrated Paul George said after the game. "We control the game for so long and then it's always late in the game where it gets away from us. It's always been the story and really our history here."
The Pacers finished their road trip 2-1 and return home to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
