(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers returned from the All-Star break and had their first practice Wednesday in preparation for Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Paul George talked about his 41-point All-Star Game performance.
"I told myself if I got it going early that I was going to keep my foot on the gas. I would like to have left there with some hardware and win the game and the MVP but it was just a great experience."
Meanwhile, Monta Ellis was asked about calling a players only meeting after last Friday's loss to Charlotte.
"With the talent that we have, this game is all mental. This game is all mental. The talent and the players to accomplish anything we want. Sometimes the season gets frustrating and things don't go the way we want to go and we lose sight of things. So I just had to get everyone to reboot their minds, get away from basketball for a little bit and then come back and try to finish the second half strong."
