(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Ryan Grigson denied reports of tension between he and Chuck Pagano over the years.
The Colts General Manager told Michael Silver of NFL Media the two have a solid professional working relationship.
"I might not be going out for beers with the head coach every night, but I do like Chuck Pagano, and we have a lot of fun working together. We bounce things off each other. We laugh all the time. I just don't understand why people think I hate the guy, because that's just not reality."
Grigson and Pagano signed extensions with the Colts in January that will keep them both under contract until the end of the 2019 season.
With news that he would not be returning to the Colts in 2016, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck sent out a series of tweets on Monday thanking the organization for his time in the Hoosier state.
"Amazing experience with the Colts. My family & I are grateful to you Indianapolis. Many great friends, you will be missed."
Hasselbeck spent three seasons with the Colts and started eight games last season in place of an injured Andrew Luck.
