(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers concluded their five-game home stand on a positive note as they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 92-84.
Myles Turner, on his 20th birthday, led Indiana with 24 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, going 11 of 17 from the field.
"I was trying to get 20 points and 20 rebounds," Turner said jokingly. "The big thing for us tonight was that we knew they were short-handed but, because of that, we also knew we had to match their intensity and get this win."
The Pacers needed a big night from Turner after Paul George exited the game in the third quarter with a leg contusion.
Frank Vogel said after the game that the three-time All-Star was day-to-day.
The Pacers posted a 3-2 record during their five-game home stand, including winning their last two games.
The Pacers hit the road on Saturday when they visit the Brooklyn Nets.
