(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers held off the Spurs to earn a 99-91 victory and snap San Antonio’s eight-game winning streak.
Monta Ellis led all scorers with 26 points while Paul George added 23.
"We were just dialed in, we were very focused tonight. That's why we won," George said.
It was Indiana's first win over San Antonio since 2007.
Newest Pacer, Ty Lawson made his debut with Indiana but left the game after just five minutes when he had a shot blocked by former Pacer David West. Lawson landed awkwardly and exited the game with a foot injury.
Spurs head coach Greg Popovich missed the game due to a family issue.
The Pacers now get time to rest up as they don't play their next game until Saturday, when they visit Dallas.
