(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers defeated the Rockets 104-101.
Paul George had a fast start scoring 16 of his 25 in the first quarter. Monta Ellis finished with 23, and Ian Mahinmi had 19.
The Pacers continued to give up late game leads as they lead by 16 in the third quarter. A run by the Rockets put them ahead in the fourth, but Solomon Hill assisted Mahinmi on back to back dunks to put the Pacers ahead 100-95.
"I was just trying to bring energy," said Hill. "James (Harden) had it going and brought them back. It was just about making the right plays."
The Pacers have won 3 of their last 4, and the win put them ahead of the Pistons by half a game and now stand in 7th place in the Eastern Conference as they try to secure a playoff spot.
The Pacers next game is against the Bulls at Bankers Life Field House on Tuesday.
