(DENVER, CO) - The Boilermakers saw their season come to an end in stunning fashion as No. 12 seeded Arkansas-Little Rock erased a 13-point deficit and won 85-83 in double-overtime.
Trojans' senior guard Josh Hagins led all scorers with 31 points and filled the stat sheet with seven rebounds, six assists and five steals.
Arkansas-Little Rock trailed by 13 points with 3:33 remaining in the game and saw everything click the rest of the way.
Vince Edwards led Purdue with 24 points and had 13 rebounds while A.J. Hammons had a double-double of his own with 16 points and 15 boards.
"We got complacent with our lead," Boilermakers coach Matt Painter said afterwards. "We didn't put our foot down and take control of the lead and keep it going, stay strong."
Purdue remains winless in the tournament since 2012.
