(TORONTO, CAN) - A disastrous nine-point fourth quarter doomed the Pacers as they fell to the Raptors 102-99 in Game 5 and gave Toronto a 3-2 series lead.
Indiana led 90-77 heading in to the final 12 minutes of regulation and saw their offense completely derail.
"Once again, we failed to live up to that moment," a dejected Paul George said after the game. "Nine points in the fourth. Nine points in the fourth quarter was all I could look at on the stat sheet. As a team, I think the crowd and the intensity took away from us being in attack mode and being confident. I think we played nervous, played on our heels and failed to finish at the basket."
PG-13 led all scorers with 39 points while DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 34 of his own.
Despite the loss, Solomon Hill said the Pacers remain confident.
"We know we can beat this team. We already have and we can again. It's a bump in the road but we just need to regroup and go out and take control of Game 6."
The series shifts back to Indiana for Game 6, where Toronto can close out the series or the Pacers can force a Game 7.
