(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers clinched a playoff spot as they cruised past the Brooklyn Nets 129-105 on Sunday.
Myles Turner netted 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds while George Hill had 18 points of his own. Indiana shot just under 56 percent from the field and held Brooklyn to 38 percent.
"All year we felt we had a team that could do damage in the playoffs," Frank Vogel said. "Tonight was about getting it done to get there. I think our guys were motivated after the Toronto game."
The win also eliminated the Chicago Bulls from the postseason. The Blue & Gold are assured a spot in the postseason but their actual seeding is still to be decided.
The Pacers are currently the seventh seed but Detroit, who is the eighth seed, has the same record. A seventh seed would likely give the Pacers a first-round match up with Toronto while an eighth seed finish would have the Pacers battled top-seeded Cleveland.
When asked if they have a preference who they would play, Paul George said, "Both teams have had their way against us. It's going to be a battle regardless of who we play."
