(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - It was an ugly night at the Fieldhouse as the Orlando Magic routed the Pacers by 20 in a 114-94 defeat.
Evan Fournier led Orlando to their third straight win with 25 points while Nikola Vucevic, who had missed the last thirteen games, came off the bench and added 24.
Paul George led the Pacers with 27 points and eight rebounds but was disgusted after the latest defeat.
"It is in our hands and we have to win games against teams like Orlando. We can't have losses like these."
Frank Vogel was equally upset but was hopeful the team could figure it out.
"I'm motivated because we have aspirations to have a strong finish and what we're doing now isn't good enough in any way so I'm motivated to move the pieces around, keep them inspired, keep them believing and make this work."
The Pacers loss combined with the Chicago Bulls win gives Indiana just a one game lead for the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
The Blue & Gold now have a back-to-back weekend road trip with the lowly 76ers on Saturday followed by a matchup against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
