(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts head coach Chuck Pagano sat down with NFL Network to discuss a multitude of topics.
When asked about the ups and downs of last season Pagano said he was happy to see the team's resiliency to overcome adversity but overall it was a disappointing season.
"The group stayed together despite some tough circumstances. We didn't reach our ultimate goal, we didn't make the playoffs so that's obviously disappointing. We can never be satisfied with 8-8, that's not good enough."
In regards to keeping his job and earning a contract extension, he said, "Indianapolis was the only place I wanted to be. I went into that meeting with Jim and was going to fight like hell to stay here and I'm very blessed the way things worked out."
He also addressed Andrew Luck's tumultuous season and what he hopes to see in 2016.
"We want to keep him healthy, keep him upright. He can't play the position with a linebacker mentality, you can't do that all the time. We love how he can extend plays but he has to be smart and know it's okay to slide."
