(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - New Colts defensive coordinator Ted Monachino promised more pressure on opposing offense next season.
"You'll see a variety of different pressures. You see them from both edges, you'll see them from different players. I think the multiplicity of the system is what excites coach Pagano and excites me."
Meanwhile, guys like Robert Mathis and D'Qwell Jackson both voiced excitement over the a more attack-style defense.
"The Baltimore Ravens have been consistently dominant at stopping the run and we are running a lot of fronts, which I haven't done a whole lot but you start to see why those guys have been so tough for so long," Jackson said.
Also, new quarterbacks coach Brian Schottenheimer talked about his relationship with Andrew Luck and says the Colts QB is ready to get to work.
"He's bought in. I think he's excited. He's got a lot in his mind that he wants to prove and he's been very eager to come to work and get better and I think that's what every coach wants to see."
