(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - As the Colts continue their off-season program, the buzz from the NFL Draft was still in the locker room.
Robert Mathis said when it comes to the incoming rookies, keep it simple.
"I expect them to be an open vessel. Come in, be willing to ask questions, work hard and that's really all we can ask. Earn your spot."
Meanwhile, Anthony Castonzo offered advice to Ryan Kelly about the pressures of being a first-round pick.
"He's going to have to manage expectations. Don't beat himself up if something goes wrong. There's a lot of pressure being a number one pick, I live through that obviously, and will help him out the best I can."
Joe Reitz said he welcomes the competition to the offensive line and said making each other better is more important than job security.
"I firmly believe competition makes everyone better. It will make the offensive line a strength of this team. It's our job to get the rookies on board, help them along and do everything we can to make them better. When I got here guys like Jeff Saturday and Ryan Diem mentored me and I always felt that was important to pass on."
