(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever erased a 17-point deficit but fell short in their comeback as they lost to Seattle 90-88.
Tamika Catchings led all scorers with 27 points, the most by a Fever player since she scored 27 points a season ago.
Briann January added 15 points and went 4-for-5 from three-point range but Jewell Lloyd led the Storm with 20 points while teammates Crystal Langhorne and Sue Bird scored 17 and 16 points, respectively.
"I was proud of how we fought," Fever coach Stephanie White said after the loss. "I was proud of how we competed down the stretch, but we've got to find a way to start better."
The loss drops the Fever to 4-6 and they'll return to the court on Tuesday when they visit Minnesota.
