(DALLAS, TX) - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is hoping his newest facility will lure the Scouting Combine away from Indianapolis and into the Lone Star state.
Team vice president Stephen Jones said, "Obviously we have nothing but the greatest respect for Indy and all the things they've done for the Combine over the years. But, as we well know, whether it's the Super Bowl or whatever, sometimes things move around."
The Combine has been held in Indianapolis since 1987 and any bid the Cowboys want to make will have to wait as the NFL signed a contract extension with Indianapolis to host the even through 2020.
