(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers held their sixth pre-draft workout on Thursday and among the six participants was University of Indianapolis guard Jordan Loyd, who said it was surreal to be working out at the Fieldhouse.
"It's crazy, I had the chance to go to a lot of games here going to UIndy so when I got the call I was shocked."
He added that coming for a D-II school and going up against D-I competition during the workout didn't affect him at all.
"I've had the opportunity to play IU, Auburn, Valpo and I did well. Coming from where I come from I get the D-2 label but it's the same thing. I can compete anywhere."
Another participant was Butler's Kellen Dunham, who said as a shooter it seems like the perfect time to be hitting the draft.
"Guys like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are making shooting so invaluable so hopefully I can get to a level like that where a team values my 3-pointer like they do."
