(UNDATED) - Team USA has announced the roster for it’s 12-man Olympic basketball team and as expected, Pacers forward Paul George will be putting on the red, white and blue this summer.
While several high profile players have opted out of the games, the team will still be the prohibitive favorite.
In addition to George, the roster includes: Carmelo Anthony, Harrison Barnes, Jimmy Bulter, DeMarcus Cousins, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Kyle Lowery and Klay Thompson. The team will be coached by Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and will open training camp on July 18th in Las Vegas.
The squad will play five exhibition games before the Olympic basketball tournament kicks off on August 6th.
