(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers sent off one local product while acquiring another as they landed Jeff Teague from the Atlanta Hawks and sent George Hill to the Utah Jazz as part of a three-team trade.
Teague, an Indianapolis-native, averaged 15.7 points and 5.9 assists in 79 games last season and hit 40-percent from three-point range.
Hill, an Indianapolis-native and IUPUI alum, was sent to Utah in the deal. Hill averaged 12.1 points and 3.4 assists last season.
As part of the deal, the Jazz sent the No. 12 overall pick to Atlanta.
Both Teague and Hill are scheduled to make $8 million next season before becoming unrestricted free agents.
