(Elkhart Lake, WI) - IndyCar historic return to Road America happened yesterday in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin in front of a record crowd at the KOHLER Grand Prix where 22 racers took on the 4 mile track.
After outlasting Tony Kanaan and Graham Rahal in the closing laps, the 2014 series winner Will Power took first place again this year. This win puts Power in third place in the Championship series behind Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud and in front of Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden.
The top four drivers after Power were Tony Kannan in second, Graham Rahal in third, Ryen Hunter-Reay in fourth and Helio Castroneves in fifth place.
The Verizon IndyCar Series returns in two week's time during the Iowa Corn 300 at Iowa Speedway.
