(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter confirmed he has agreed on a new three-year contract extension.
The new deal will keep him in charge of the Boilermakers through the 2021-2022 season.
The deal may not be finalized until later this summer but Painter confirmed that a verbal agreement has been made.
The 45-year old signed a contract extension back in 2011 and was set to make $2.45 million this upcoming season in base salary.
