(DENVER, CO) - For the third consecutive season the Indianapolis Colts are 0-2 to start the season as they lost to the Denver Broncos 34-20.
Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller harassed Andrew Luck all afternoon, racking up three sacks and forcing a fumble that was returned for a score.
All in all, the Denver defense tallied five sacks, forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and had an interception returned for a touchdown.
Luck didn't crack 100 yards passing until the fourth quarter, finishing with 197 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
"You can't turn the ball over," Pagano said. "You can't have a pick-six and strip fumbles returned for touchdowns. It's too hard to overcome."
The Colts secondary continued to suffer injuries, as Darius Butler exited the game after injuring his hamstring while returning an interception for what looked like a sure touchdown. The Colts settled for a field goal instead.
