(HOUSTON, TX) - The Colts had an epic fourth quarter meltdown as they lost to the Houston Texans 26-23 in overtime and fell to 2-4 on the season.
Indianapolis led 23-9 with a little over seven minutes left in regulation but two Houston touchdowns with under three minutes remaining sent the game to overtime where kicker Nick Novak hit a 33-yard field goal to seal the comeback.
Andrew Luck threw for 252 yards, threw for a touchdown, ran for another and had an interception. He was also sacked three times, including one on third down in overtime that gave the Texans the ball back and set up the game-winning score.
"Extremely disappointed would be an understatement," Chuck Pagano said after the game.
The Colts allowed 17 unanswered points with running back Lamar Miller leading the charge with 178 total yards and two touchdowns.
Instead of sitting atop the AFC South, the Colts find themselves alone in the basement with more questions than answers and another divisional road game on the horizon.
