(GREEN BAY, WI) - Jordan Todman set the tone for the Colts with a 99-yard opening kickoff touchdown and the boys in blue used a hot start to hold off the Green Bay Packers 31-26.
Andrew Luck shook off two first quarter interceptions and finished with 281 yards and a touchdown. Frank Gore rumbled for a pair of scores and had 60 yards rushing while T.Y. Hilton caught six balls for 82 yards.
Luck admitted the Colts needed a win in the worst way.
"I probably wouldn't have said that before the game, but we did. We needed it. We needed it for ourselves. There's things we have to clean up, and we've gotta stack the wins together. But we needed this in a bad way."
Chuck Pagano echoed those statements, saying, "Everybody knew exactly where we were and what the stakes were. A record of 4-5 is way different than going back home at 3-6."
The Colts now head into their bye week and get back to on the field on November 20 against the Tennessee Titans.
