(Ft. Wayne, IN) - It will be considered one of the great upsets in Indiana college basketball history. Last night in Fort Wayne, Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne took down No. 3 Indiana 71-68 at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
DeAngelo Stewart sank both ends of a one-and-one with 2.9 seconds remaining after he stole the ball from James Blackmon, Jr. on a drive into the lane with the Hoosiers hoping for a go-ahead shot.
Indiana's last chance to force a second overtime died when Konchar stole the inbounds pass following Stewart's free throws as Fort Wayne celebrated the program's first win against a top 25 opponent since joining Division one 15 years ago.
Thomas Bryant scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Indiana.
