(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts head into the final week of the regular season with zero chance of making the playoffs, the first time that’s happened in Chuck Pagano’s 79 games as head coach.
Asked what was at stake heading into a meaningless Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pagano responded, "Pride. Respect. Winning. It's unacceptable where we're at. We all know that. That's not us. That's not this culture. That's not what was developed around here a long time ago. That--that is what is at stake."
Also at stake on Sunday is a chance at history for running back Frank Gore, who is 36 rushing yards shy of rushing for 1,000 yards, which would make him the first NFL player age 33 years or older to rush for 1,000 yards in a season since 1984.
