(LOUISVILLE, KY) - A Boilermakers’ rally came up short as No. 14 Louisville outlasted No. 15 Purdue 71-64 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
After scoring just 19 points in the first half the Boilermakers scored 45 in the second but were unable to counter the Cardinals' strong defense.
Caleb Swanigan led Purdue with 14 points and 11 rebounds while P.J. Thompson added 13 points.
The Boilermakers drop to 5-2 on the season and next take on Morehead State on Saturday.
